The Endocrine System:

                The endocrine  system is a network of glands that secrete chemical called hermones to our body for proper functioning. Hormones are chemical signal that co-ordinates   a  range of body function. The endocrine system helps to control the following process of system.

Growth & development

a)Homeostasis (maintains internal balance of our body)

b)Metabolism (converts the food into body)


d)Resssponse to stimuli
The Endocrine Network/Mechanism of Endocrine Gland

             The endocrine system completes its tasks (above a-e) through its network of gland that produces, stores & secrete hormones. Glands are located throughout various parts of our body. The location and function of these gland may summarized as under:
