The stress can be classified under the following three subtopics:
*Catalysmic event * Personal Stressor *Background Stresor
The catalysmic event is a strong stressor that occur suddenly and typically effect many people simultaneously. Eg; Terrorist attack, landslide, plain crash etc.
It include major life events like; death, lost of job, failure, or even positive evets like; marriage. For instance; death produces great stress but are able to cope with it with the loss after the passage of time. It brings post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).
Daily hassles like standing in a large queue at a bank, getting stuck in a tropic exam etc. is said to be background strssor.
