✳PSYCHONUROIMMUNOLOGY (PNI) & STRESS
Its a study of the relationship among psychological factors, the immune and the brain. The effect of PNI can be pointed as below:
*Stress has direct psychological result i.e:increase in BP, hermonal activity & overall decrease in immune system.
*Stress leads people to engazed in behavior that are harmful to their health. Eg, drug, alcohol, less rest etc.
*Stress produces indirect consequences that result in decline in health.
✳How can we cope with stress?
Stress is a condition that is often characterized by symptoms of physical or emotional tention. It is a reason to situation where a person feels threatened or anaxious. Stress can be positive or negative.
Feeling emotional or nervous and having trouble in sleeping and eating can be normal reaction to stress. Engaging in healthy activities and getting the right care and support can put problem in perspective and help stressful feeling subside in a few days or weeks. Some tips for beginning to feel better are:
*Taking care oneself
-Eat healthy, and well balanced meals
-Do regular exercise
-Get plenty of sleep
-Give rest when feeling stressed.
*Share the feelings with parents, friend or dude, counselor, doctor or pastor.
*Avoid serving drugs and alcohol.
*Give up the external matters which cause the stress.
*Manage all of the activities by maintaining schedule.
*Try to reassure with other about safety or security and wellbeing.
*Try to be connected with other by onging effort to talk about desired issue.
